Life
Sometimes this is how I feel. Things move so slow through life. I wish they could hurry.
Maybe long term goals are a bad idea. “What’s your 5 year plan?” If I have one should it feel so painful to get there? Like this guy crossing the driveway. It took him hours. Was his goal this morning to get to those yummy leaves on the other side? Did he know it was going to take so long; so much energy and effort?

Maybe he didn’t know, but there’s something to be said for starting out on journeys even when you don’t know where they’ll lead…great shot.
I’m going to be the guy that continually bugs you about taking that trip you mentioned on FB. You have the means… live life, see new things, do it! (and don’t forget to bring your camera so we can live it with you)
Beautiful photograph Jay, and I’m with you with respect to Jer taking his family and exploring the world. He’ll never regret it.
Easy for everyone else to shove us out the door on a grand adventure…they’re not the ones laying out life savings, shepherding angry children, then returning broke, unemployed and homeless.
