Sitter
There are days when I really regret selling my 70-300mm lens. Today was one of them. Of course, I have had far more use out of the nice tripod I bought with the money from that lens, so I shouldn’t complain.
This guy was just sitting there the whole time as I crept closer and closer with my 24-70mm @ 70. Sadly, this is as close as I could get. The 70-200mm f/2.8 will one day come, but it’s going to be a long while.
The crop is terrible. This blog requires 950x425px and the shot was portrait, which meant I had to discard more than 2/3 of the pixels when cropping.

Nifty reflections. I’d feel pretty lost without a telephoto…but maybe I just wouldn’t pay attention to distant scenes as much. Like when I go out with my macro lens on and no camera bag, of course I come back having noticed only macro shots.
